The TM1000X5ad Element Ready multi-channel amplifier is a 1000 watt RMS unit built on our proprietary Class ad platform designed to deliver unprecidented sound quality with superior power efficiency. Combined with our Constant Power technology, this amplifier can easily exceed its rated power by up to 25% additional output per channel. Amplifier top mounted controls include our C.L.E.A.N. level setting system, integrated high/ low pass crossovers, Input channel configuration switches and our Punch EQ boost circuit.
Upgraded input RCA connectors allow for high or low level input signals to be used through our differential input circuit which eliminates incoming noise and can provide a remote out signal when using high level inputs. Dual fan cooling, real time thermal monitoring and dual extruded heat sinks maintain heat dissipation even at high outputs keeping the amp cool. Other features include a conformal coated circuit board for protection against element exposure and compatibility with our PLC2 level remote control for the sub channel.

These amplifiers are protected against Dust, UV, Corrosion, and feature Stainless hardware. These Moto-marine amplifiers have not only the capabilities you expect a Rockford Fosgate amp to have, but Rockford Fosgate have designed them to stand up to the environmental conditions you are likely to subject them to. With corrosion resistant stainless steel hardware and two-part epoxy coated circuit boards, these units are designed with you in mind. Whether on the lake, on the road or in the back woods these amplifiers are ready for an adventure.
Power ratings on Rockford Fosgate amplifiers conform to CEA-2006 industry standards. These guidelines mean your amplifier's output power ratings are REAL POWER numbers, not inflated marketing ratings.
The ce mark is the official marking required by the European Community for all Electrical and Electronic equipment (and others) that will be sold, or put into service for the first time, anywhere in the European community. It proves to the authorities, but also to the buyer -or user- that this product fulfills all essential safety and environmental requirements as they are defined in the so-called European Directives. The ce marking directive (93/68/EEC) was adopted on 07-22-1993 and updated as 768/2008 EC on 13-8-2008. The directive gives a detailed description of the initials CE and any other marks specific to a particular directive and the many ways conformity may be acquired. In return for fulfilling the CE marking requirements, the manufacturer or its agent gets the permission to cover the entire European market using only one approval procedure for the topics covered in the applicable directives. No member state of the European Community can refuse trade of any (electronic or electrical) product that has been CE marked (unless fraud suspected). For some products however, national regulations exist, as long as the requirements covered in these national regulations are not covered by a pan-European Directive.
This technology allows the amplifier to produce more power with less current draw from the vehicle's charging system. Rockford Fosgate's AD topology brings out high efficiency bd amplifier design to a full range application. Class AD uses our Dynamic Frequency Switching to increase the switching frequency during lower output levels for better signal resolution. This coupled with Post Choke Feedback Filtering compares the input signal to the output signal at the speaker connector removing any unwanted distortion. These technologies eliminate the inherent switching noise associated with typical class D designs and also provide instantaneous output power over varying impedance loads.
Constant Power is a patented circuit topology that provides instantaneous delivery of output power over varying impedance loads. Music and speakers have a dynamic relationship. As the frequency of music varies, so does the impedance of the speaker. Rockford Fosgate’s patented Constant Power circuit design actively monitors and increases voltage and current as the speaker’s impedance rises with music, resulting in up to a 25% increase in total amplifier power.
Patented circuit with in/out clip LEDs to help match a source to amp and optimize output. Time and sophisticated test equipment have been replaced, with Rockford’s integrated level setting technology called CLEAN (Calibrated Level Eliminates Audible Noise). Using simple LED indicators to identify both signal clipping from the audio source and the output level clipping to the speakers. This precise level set-up eliminates speaker damaging distortion.
3-stage airflow method effectively exhausts heat and ensures your amplifier runs cooler for optimum performance. Compact Rockford Fosgate Power BR and AD amplifiers generate a lot of wattage in a compact chassis. A natural by-product of generating this power is heat. To get rid of this heat, Rockford Fosgate engineers developed an efficient method to keep the amplifier running cool. This is accomplished by using a 3-stage thermal lock extrusion. It uses "dual fan forced induction" to pull in fresh air. It pulls heat off the MOSFETS and directs airflow into the exhaust channel. Then finally drives this heat out of the amplifier. Furthermore, the top heat sink is decoupled from the bottom, so the top remains cooler to the touch. SUMMARY When installing the amplifier, it's best to allow 2 to 3 inches minimum clearance around the fan intake and exhaust vents to optimize air-flow. As you can see, this method developed by Rockford Fosgate engineers, effectively exhausts heat and ensures your amplifier runs cooler for optimum performance.
DSM utilize 1% tight-tolerances improving efficiency of the circuit, decreases cross-talk from other discrete components and lowers operating temperature. DSM - An industry-leading manufacturing process, DSM utilizes high-speed robotics, high-quality 1% tight-tolerance parts and large board traces. The discrete components are laser etched to meet a particular value and a very low tolerance. This lower tolerance improves the efficiency of the circuit, decreases cross-talk from other discrete components and lowers operating temperature. These superior components are used by aerospace, automotive, and cellular manufacturers.
