Description
The Pioneer VREC-DZ700DC is a 2-Channel Full HD 1080p dual recording dash camera that mounts directly to the inside of the vehicle’s front windscreen, and an HD 1080p compact rearview camera that mounts inside the rear window to capture larger amounts of information on both the road ahead and behind. The 1080p HD front camera with a 2" LCD screen has a diagonal Wide Viewing Angle of 160° recording in Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) for enhanced imagery under low light or night conditions and a 1080p HD rear camera with a diagonal viewing angle of 137° featuring a High-Definition Range (HDR) technology to clearly capture both light and dark conditions at the same time to achieve higher camera visual recognition performance. Both front and rear cameras feature STARVIS™ back-illuminated CMOS sensor technology, constantly adjusting the image quality to produce bright, richly colored imagery, and identification-level images including license plates in dark or near-infrared light regions.

Wide Viewing Angle
A wide front camera 160° diagonal viewing angle lens and a 1080p HD rear camera with a diagonal viewing angle of 137° captures larger amounts of information on both the road ahead and behind with the option of the front camera recording in 720p (1280x720) video quality to preserve SD card space.
Built-in GPS
Accurately record important information such as your current position, vehicle speed, direction of travel and time.
Rotatable Smart-View Lense
Rotatable front (220°) and rear (360°) lens easily allows capturing either vehicle exterior or interior passengers including children.
Night-Time Mode
Clear (1920x1080p) HD wide-angle video recording with high sensitivity and high quality to capture exceptional details, even in low light conditions using STARVIS™ back-illuminated CMOS sensor technology to constantly adjust the image quality to produce bright, richly colored imagery, and identification-level images including license plates in dark or near-infrared light regions.
Wide Dynamic Range (WDR)
The front camera features WDR which automatically enhances and compensates "overexposure" and "underexposure" that occurs when the brightness changes suddenly, such as at night, or when entering or exiting a tunnel or parking garages.
High Dynamic Range (HDR)
The rear camera HDR technology enables both the light and dark regions to be captured clearly at the same time to achieve higher camera visual recognition performance.
Parking Mode
The VREC-DZ700DC dedicated parking mode feature automatically switches from normal driving mode to Parking Mode when the ignition is turned off. The camera will record both 20 seconds before and after an occurrence in Parking Mode. Recordings are placed in a specific folder for easy access.
24/7 Security Mode
When the pre-set Parking Mode’s time elapses or the internal battery has depleted, Security Mode is automatically activated when the camera detects vibration, to perform 24/7 security mode surveillance. This feature automatically turns on and extracts power directly from the vehicle’s battery power when using the included Pioneer hardwire connection kit (Power Cable).
Smartphone Device Compatible
You now have the option to save videos to your mobile phone album or watch recordings in real-time through your smartphone using Pioneer’s exclusive Dash Camera Interface app.
